Photos

I am using the Edda theme. On some of my blog pages, but not all of them, the color photo at the top appears in some sort of monochrome. On my Mac, it will change to the appropriate colors when I click on it. On my iPad, I have to tap the screen for the colors to appear. Is there a way to fix this? Or is there something special about the photos that don’t have this problem that I should look for when selecting photos to use?
    Thank you.

    Hi there,

This is not related to photos in any way so don’t worry :)

It is actually coming from the theme. If you visit this demo page of edda theme and hover (move your mouse over) on the images, you’ll notice the color change.

The theme basically adds a “Sepia” filter to the “featured” images of blog posts.

I hope this helps in some way :)

    Omkarbhagat,
Thank you for that information. I suspected as much. While I am sure someone thought that was a wonderful effect to add, and indeed it is, but is there any way I can turn it off? Or am I going to have to move everything to another theme?

    Thanks for your help
    Genevieve
