  Default images found on any WordPress.com theme may be removed and replaced with other images. Just remove an unwanted image and replace it with another.

  A site created with the Mayland theme applied, such as yours, will by default display a static front page featuring a gallery of images. These images are not in the media library, so they can’t be deleted there. However, you may remove each item from the gallery in the corresponding page editor. See the following relevant support page sections if necessary:

  1. Edit a Page section of the Pages support page
  2. Editing a Gallery or Slideshow section of the Galleries and Slideshows support page
  3. Edit Gallery section of the Gallery Block support page
