Help — I always reduce the resolution of the photos I use on my blog, to avoid using up as much of my photo allocation. I always did this by clicking on the bottom left option (I think it was admin?) Now, that option is no longer there. When I go to the current photo editor, it shows me the size of the photo but the only option is the crop the photo — not to change the number of pixels, etc. How do I get to that option? I’m assuming wordpress changed something that resulted in this issue …?
Thanks. -
Can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise. Thank you!

Hi there,
You should be able to get to the previous photo editor from the media page here:
https://girlsinwhitedresses.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php
The content of the section you are looking for has now been replaced by an alternative one, as part of unifying our website management experience. I would encourage you to take a look and let me know if it meets your goals, and I can help answer any questions about it here too.
If you prefer your navigation to always default to the classic WordPress look, you can navigate to https://wordpress.com/me/account and activate the option called “Dashboard appearance” as illustrated in this screenshot:
We also cover this in more detail on this support guide page if you’re interested: https://wordpress.com/support/account-settings/#dashboard-appearance.
Please note that toggling this setting will also change some of the other links on your navigation menu, but you can always deactivate this option down the road to go back to the new interface.
Hope that helps. Thanks!
