Photos and Video

  I am a true beginner. I want to post photos and minimal video with only brief written entries. comments are not a big necessity. i would like to have an archived photo gallery if possible. My blog is for family and friends. what is the best free theme offered automatically by WP? thanks for any help!

  Most of them will do this sort of thing well. get it going under the default theme and then experiment.

  Just don’t pick any of the real narrow ones like Day Dream or Sweet Blossoms. Trying to showhorn a video into one of those will either break the theme or not make the video fully visable.
