Photos appear length wise instead of the right way up

    Hi! I can’t seem to get the photos I’m up loading to appear correctly. They’re thinner than others I’ve up loaded without any trouble today but I’ve up loaded plenty in the past like this with no problem. What happens is that the appear on their side on the page. Please can you have a think and let me know what I must be doing wrong?

    Is this the blog you are talking about, http://urge2burge.wordpress.com/ ? If so since it is private we cannot see it.

    What program are you using to prepare your images before uploading? Typically this happens when you are viewing the images in a proprietary camera program, which will automatically rotate the images for view, but doesn’t actually rotate the images. This can also happen with iPhoto for the same reason: it does not actually rotate the images, it just shows them rotated when you view them.

    This can also happen if you are uploading them to a photo sharing service such as flickr where again, they will rotate for view, but they do not actually rotate the image.
