Photos are jumping & Scheduling still publishes

Whenever I add a caption to a photo, the photo jumps to the top of the page. It does not stay in the location that I originally placed it. This has never happened before and it is preventing me from finishing a blog.
Also, when I schedule a blog for the future and select the publish button because a schedule button is not available it still publishes the blog. I then have to unpublish it but I still get comments that the blog title is on the site and people can’t click through. Please help!

Can you let me know a few things?
- Are you creating the post from the new editor or from the classic editor? The difference is demonstrated in the URL:

- Does this happen on all browsers or just Firefox?
I’ll be able to try to replicate this once I know those pieces of info!

Can you make sure the time is set correctly for your General Settings here?

We recently made some improvements to how scheduled posts are handled in the new editor that I believe will fix this.

Thanks for the quick response.
The pictures jumping happened with the new editor. When I went to the classic editor it allowed me to place a picture at the top and another towards the bottom of the blog. However, when I tried to place the 2nd picture right underneath the other picture it would jump to the top of the page with the classic editor too.
As for the scheduling I checked the general settings and the date was set up correctly. The time was a little off but I’ve corrected that today. I usually try to do the posts 1 week in advance so I will try it tomorrow to see if it this issue has been fixed.

Sorry forgot to answer the browser question. It seems that it only happens on Firefox. I tried Chrome and it seemed to work as normal.

That’s really odd. I did some testing with image placement within the new editor in Firefox 31.0, and it seemed to work correctly for me. Here’s what I experienced:
I was able to add the images in their correct places with captions, and the page didn’t seem to skip up or down. Is that the same technique you’re using?

Thanks for the link/video. I did it a little differently. First, I placed the pic where I wanted it, then clicked on the edit the picture tab and then added the caption. Once I added the caption that is when I had the issue. This had never happened before so I’m hoping it was just a one time thing. I will try the way you showed in the video. Thanks again!
