Photos Aren't Showing on the WordPress Reader

  I just happened onto the Reader page, which shows my latest blog posts and those of people I follow. My posts are there but the photos aren’t. That’ll cut readership. Photos show up automatically on Google + and some Facebook platforms. Why not here? Any idea how I’d fix that?
