Photos being cut off on some screens

I just started using wordpress for my blog and ran into some problems when we went to check it out on our laptop. We noticed that only half the pictures are showing because of a smaller monitor. On our desktop the full pic shows up in the body of the blog. I found out that the theme I am using recommends using pics at 652px. I just tried them at 600 and am still having them cut off on the laptop.
So when you are uploading pics using WordPress do I want to select “show” full size? or thumbnail? Or is there another trick to ensure that your photo is within the body of the blog without it being very small?
Also, with wordpress is there any easy uploader that allows you to drag and drop multiple images at once?

Is your blog at WordPress.com or independent WordPress?
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=3700&replies=1Some screen resolutions won’t show everything without scrolling, and that’s just the way things are. You’ll need to post narrower pictures in that case.
There is no mass uploader for WP.com blogs.

You could try resizing the picture or choose a theme that has a wider post area. You could probably edit your current theme to have wider posting space too using CSS.

Andreas09 is a flexible width theme. If your monitor is not wide enough, the images will be cut off on the right side. If your monitor is wide enough, and you have your browser window set wide enough, the image will show complete. The theme has overflow: hidden on the post area so that narrowing the browser window will not break the theme.

Is there a size then that I should make my pics so that anyone viewing the pic will see the whole thing?
I haven’t learned css yet or bought the upgrade and I think andreas09 theme has one of the widest margins. My blog is to display my photography I don’t want to lose the size too much.
What do I need to do?
