photos disappeared

    I imported a blog to wordpress a few months ago. Everything imported successfully and I could see text and images that were on the original blog. It’s been a few months since I visited the blog, and now the images are gone on every post. When I open the media library it looks like several images are going to load and then only two do the ones that came with the theme. I’m wondering if anyone can help me retrieve my images.

    However, a friend told me the link wouldn’t work for them. They got an oops page. When they searched for river valley nature school through wordpress they could access the site. The blog was published and public and working before all this.

    This issue is due to the fact that you have the “static homepage” selected in the Homepage settings in the Customizer but no actual page selected. Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/YntN4e

    Choose the page that should be set as your homepage and save those settings and it should worked for your visitors.

    Regarding your images, it looks like they were being hotlinked from the URL blog.rivervalleynatureschool.org – which appears to show a HOSTING ACCOUNT EXPIRED message now. I’m not showing that any images were imported to your site when you moved your content over, so those images might be lost if you can’t get them from the previous hosting provider and you’ll need to re-upload those images and attach them to the posts and pages in question.
