photo's don't show on blog

Hi, please help. I’ve posted pictures into my blog which show when I’m in edit mode and say set as featured picture but don’t show to the outside world or myself when I google my blog.
I’d really appreciate a response from someone – can you tell me how to correct this please.

Have you checked your media library? Can you see them there? I’ve just looked at your blog and see only the header.

Hi again- yes my pictures are there in the media library- does that mean I should be able to upload them? Do you know how?

I have been able to insert the pictures into the body of the text just now but what I wanted to do was to insert them into the top of the page where I have my generic wordpress picture- this is the problem- before it allowed me to do this and still does -it inserts the picture where the chateau pic is and i see it there when i am logged in but if i look at my blog through google i don’t see my picture there i just see the generic wordpress chateau pic. it seems quite technical- can you help at all please? thanks

Scroll down to “Custom Headers”You can upload your favorite image to the header to put your stamp on your blog. You can even use a different custom header image for each post by including a Featured Image when you publish a new post.
Scroll down again to “Quick Specs” and note the required images sizes.

I’m having a similar problem in that on posts from January 10th onward my readers and I can’t view the pictures. When I click on them it says 404 – images not found. I have recently cleared out my media library as it was telling me that my memory allowance was full. Can anyone offer a solution to this? Thank you!katiethiesen.wordpress.com

—– please note that I tried to use a featured image for the custom header for each post- it shows as uploaded/featured image on the blog post when i login but it doesn’t actually show to my readers or me when i look at the post. and yet this is what I what to do-use a featured image for each post if i chose to do so and if not then to keep my generic wordpress custom header on the days i don’t want to upload a pic. Please help -thanks

also just to add that sometimes it does show the my featured picture in the custom header-but only when i am logged in and after i have been editing which is strange- so i know the pics meet the requirements but i don’t know why it is they don’t show to the outside world
