Photos fail to upload in Wpbakery Page image galleries

    Hi guys!
    New photos are not uploading in Wpbakery… I have a page with multiple galleries, and at some point, photos just won’t upload. Every time I click the + sign to add images, I choose them, then the “upload” button goes grey to show that it’s working on it… and then it never moves beyond this.

    I tried compressing the images down to a reasonable size, and they still won’t upload. Once in a while, I try to add 1-2 at a time, and sometimes it works and other times it fails. I definitely can’t select more than that amount at any given moment.

    Also, for each individual gallery, I am able to mass-upload about 10-15 images from scratch. Beyond this, it seems not to work anymore.

    Advice is greatly appreciated!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the link. Your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress from WordPress.org hosted by 20i.com and not the version that we host here on WordPress.com. Since we are not your host we are limited in the support we can provide for your site.

    It sounds like you have narrowed the problem down to WPBakery’s Visual Composer if that’s the case make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin. This is especially important if the plugin came “bundled” with your theme.

    If you are on the latest version then contact either your theme author (if the plugin came bundled) or Visual Composer’s support (if you bought it directly)

    If you’re not sure the problem is plugin related then try deactivating plugins one at a time until you find the problem. For generic WordPress help (but not premium plugins) you’ll find the WordPress.org community-based support at:

    Your host may also be able to help you troubleshoot the issue.
