Photos from flickr not loading on my wordpress blog

  Hi everyone,

  I have been using Flickr images on my wordpress blog – http://alvinology.wordpress.com for two years now and they have been loading fine till three days ago…

  ALL the images on the my blog are not loading at all now.

  Anyone can help me on this? Any help or advice is vastly appreciated.

  Here’s a few examples:

  However, they are not loading at all.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You have way too many photos to load all at once on your blog. I’d suggest you cut down on the number of posts you feature on your main page; to one or two, actually. Then your readers will only be pulling from Flickr a fraction of what they’re trying to get right now. I have a high speed connection, but only one of the photos will load for me. Try that and see if it helps.

  Hi raincoaster,

  It loaded fine last time. I compressed all the photos beforehand prior to uploading. Hence the file sizes are kept minimal.

  Btw, i have another mirror blog here: http://blog.omy.sg/alvinology/

  The same photos (embedded using the exact same method) load fine on this other blog.

  This is EXACTLY the same problem I have had. When I try to upload the photos, I just get a bunch of cryptic letters that show up instead of the photo.

  All of your photos are visible to me using Firefox and IE7, and the size of the files seems fine… it took about a few seconds but all of the photos on the post were there. I did keep getting a pop-up asking for a password and user name from a site called sgblogawards.omy.sg:

  A user name and password are being requested by [edit]sgblogawards.omy.sg. The site says: “Restricted Area”

  I get something a little different in IE7:

  The server sgblogawards.omy.sg at Restricted Area requires a username and password.

  Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection)
