Photos have disappeared from my blog… what has happened?

  I have just noticed that the photographs have disappeared from quite a few of my blogs… what has happened?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there!

  Is it possible that you deleted any images from your Media Library? If you did, any images that were deleted from your library will no longer appear in your posts.

  If this isn’t the case, could you provide me with a couple links to posts with broken images? Then, I can troubleshoot this further.

  Hi, The images are not deleted as later today the photos loaded up.
  But I just looked again now and they are not loading again… seems to be mainly on older links. This post is a year old but a very popular wedding on my blog so its just important for me that the photos load correctly and quickly. https://portraitroom.wordpress.com/2014/01/07/designer-wedding-in-ballymagarvey-photography-by-roger-kenny/

  Hey Roger,

  You’re right…the photos loaded for me, as far as I can tell. I’m not seeing any odd spacing, or images that appear “broken.” BUT…the page was very slow to load. If you don’t have as powerful of an internet connection as I have, your page might open without all the images loading properly.

  The issue appears to be the sheer number of images on the post. I would highly recommend limiting the amount of images by splitting this into multiple posts. OR…by putting your images in a gallery that streamlines your images.

  If there are particular images that are missing from the post from your view, let me know which ones (provide the link to the image in your media library) and I can confirm whether or not it’s visible on other computers.
