photos have dissapeared after deleting caption

  hi all

  just spent a very very long time uploading my photos (im currently in iran and the internet is so slow). I originally gave them captions and then deleted the captions. i deleted them just using the edit post page. the photos have now dissapeared but when i drag my cursor over that area, it pops up with the title of the photo. its like they are there but i cant see them.how can i get them back. please help.please.

  Easy fix go to the post where the image is missing then edit post then
  open the media library in the editor & re add the image.

  thanks your response.
  i go the page. click edit. then click on media library. a thumb nail pop ups of the photos and edit/delete/view under that. i have no add or re add button. i tried highlighting the box then pressed apply but nothing happened. i tried pressing edit then update media and nothing either. the only add button i see is add new on the sidebar.
  sorry mate but im really new to this.

  uploaded the photos again and they uploaded but there is a big area of just white. 7 photos in a row are not being displayed, but are there, i think. what is happening. im about to cry

  Switch to the html editor and most likely you’ll see extra code you can delete.

  Consider linking your name to your blog. Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
