Photos in [caption] shortcodes aren't displaying properly.

On both of my blogs, http://frozenroyalty.net and http://blog.manzanarcommittee.org (both are WordPress.com blogs), photos in [caption] shortcodes are suddenly not displaying properly. Caption no longer appear, and the alignment is wrong.
I made no changes to the code on blog.manzanarcommittee.org before the problem occurred, so I know it’s not an HTML error on my part.
Please advise. Thank you.

FYI: the same errors are reproducible on different browers, running on different devices, leading me to believe that something’s changed on your end.

Can you please clarify what the error is? I’m not sure what it looked like before so I’m unable to see what you are referring to. You mentioned that the captions no longer appear, but I am seeing them. Also, you said the alignment was wrong, but can you explain in which way?
If you have a specific post as an example that would be helpful.

Thank you. It does appear that something has changed on your end. I didn’t change any existing code and it was working fine prior to when I initially reported the problem.

It’s been a week…any news?
It’s obvious that the syntax for the [caption] shortcode has changed. I’m hoping that I won’t have to change every single post that uses the that shortcode…
