Photos in Excerpts?
-
I’m wondering if it’s possible to have photos show up in the excerpts in my WordPress.com blog. This would enable me to have RSS feeds show a photo as well as when someone sees a variety of posts after clicking on a category in my blog.
Right now I’m using the theme MistyLook.
Is this possible? I’ve tried to research it and it seems so simple (and it must be possible) but I can’t figure it out.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please link to the blog in question, or link your username to that blog. We can’t help without that.

The excerpt function works in only a few themes. Misty Look is one of the themes where it works for archives and category pages. You can have images, background, links, and so on if you write or paste the HTML code into the excerpt module on the post-editing page. It must be done while the editor is in the HTML mode, though once it’s there you can switch back to visual if you like.
It should also show up on your feed if you set it to show summary.

Ah! I hadn’t realized it had to be on HTML mode on the top in order for that to work in the theme — just tested and it works. THANK YOU!!!!
