PHOTOS IN MY POST HAVE DISAPPEARED!!

    Hello! I’m Danielle.

    A few days ago, I checked one of my posts and found that almost all the photos in it were gone, and instead they were replaced with their alternative text.

    Therefore, I tried different solutions from the internet, but none worked.

    Before the photos disappeared, I had backed it up in Google Drive. So from there i copied and pasted it in my website, but surprisingly only the text was there and the photos were not being included!

    If anyone can tell me what’s the possible problem or suggest some other solutions, i would greatly appreciate it.
    I’m looking forward to your replies.
    I am hoping that a WordPress agent will try to help too.

    The site I need help with is danielle-economides.com. It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack.

    It looks like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

    This is the issue here. You’re not inserting image files into your blog posts but a private Google Drive link.

    You need to use an image file (.jpg, .png, et cetera) not that Google Drive link.
