Photos in sticky notes

  I am trying to add several photos across the top of my website…in a sticky note.
  How can I do so? What I’ve been trying isn’t working except the one photo…entitled Pearls anyone? Can’t seem to get others up there too…
  Any ideas?

  There is such a thing as sticky posts? http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts Is that what you are referring to?

  I guess I really want to restructure my whole blog so it has a static first page and then links to my individual items as in this blog:
