Photos – is is possible stop image theft?
-
Hi,
Is there a way that photos on my blog can be ‘locked down’ so when someone clicks on them they don’t have the option to right-click and save them?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Short answer is you can’t prevent image theft, right click disable is a fools feeling of security and is easy to get around, don’t put anything on the internet you don’t want stolen.
Longer answer, watermark the images, scale the images down and compress it like crazy. A professional photographer friend jokes about the pictures on his site “they can maybe print a postcard for the refrigerator”

Your are welcome
Photographers have trouble with the scale images down thing, you have spent years learning how to make larger images look great, then we tell you to go back years and scale them down so a large picture looks like it was taken with a disposable camera
