Photos missing from subscriber emails
-
I have been using the Blaskan theme for a long time without any problems. I recently changed themes and my photos disappeared from the subscriber emails. I read the forum post from 2012 which talks about certain themes having this problem so I changed themes again (to Twenty Twelve). The first two posts with the new theme were fine, the latest post doesn’t show a photo on the email. Any suggestions? Should I just go back to Blaskan? (Blog is dmxart.wordpress.com)

I don’t know what you mean by certain themes. I do know that we can set up our email client to either accept images or not. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff aresponse. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

The forum post I was referring to is from July 28, 2012 —

I don’t think it’s a problem with my email client (Thunderbird) since I receive messages from other WP.com blogs that include photos.
Thanks much for your help with this.

What’s the address of the latest post you are referring to?
Perhaps you could send us a screenshot of the e-mail that doesn’t show the photo. You can follow these instructions on how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ . You can then upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.
