Photos missing from subscriber emails

How do I make sure subscriber emails include the featured image? Thank you in advance!

Every email client can be set up differently. For example, I have mine set up so no images ever display.

Note the post excerpt display on the live demo site https://nuclearedemo.wordpress.com/
If you want a full post display you will have to switch themes.

I’m sorry the popup made you “peeved off”. I could have sworn I had it set to no visibly on the homepage, but it must have been changed somehow. I have removed it.
I am new to this so friendly and supportive feedback is appreciated.
I’m also not seeking to control the receiver’s inbox settings. I am wanting to make sure that images are being included from the sender’s end. (In this case wordpress.com).

re: switching themes
Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.
The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.
Lastly, you are not in a position to attempt to compel me to change my honest and straight forward opinion on any in my face pop-ups. I answer 6 – 8 pages of questions here nearly every day, and the last thing I need slowing me down is an in my face pop-up.
As I have been here for nearly 10 years and have never experienced a pop-up like that before I will tag this thread for a Staff response. They will inform me as to when this pop-up ability was introduced for wordpress.com bloggers, and if there is an action I can take or a blocker I can use to eliminate the display.

I located the popup in the widgets and removed it completely. Thank you for your feedback.
Your abrasiveness is unfortunate as from reading your blog you are obviously well suited to provide support within these forums, however your tone dissuades anyone like myself from seeking help in here again.
While I may be new to the WordPress.com platform I am not new to seeking assistance in online forums and this is honestly the first time I have encountered a forum member so acerbic.
Bravo for your 10 years of experience and I wish you well in your search to exude control your user experience.

I apologize for being negatively focused towards in your face subscription pop-ups. In fact, I am visually challenged and I HATE them because
(1) they frustrate my ability to view blogs without enduring any interfering distractions, and
(2) they offend me as they are presented prior to me even being able to read a complete post. (I consider that to be based on the arrogant assumption that I will follow a site before I even get to read the content and assess its value to me. )That said, not to worry as Staff will deal with your issue by email.

I truly was not aware the popup was happening as I specifically remember setting it to not popup right away and not on the home page at all. I wholeheartedly appreciate a popup like that is super in-your-face and presumptuous. Since I don’t know how long it has been happening I wonder how many others quickly bounced from the site?
