Photos missing on my blog homepage

  Having difficulty with posts. I have only made one new post and the photo is not showing on my home page like the other posts provided in the theme, please take a look https://lifewithjanets.wordpress.com/

  Hi there,

  You are referring to the fact that no image is shown here on your homepage?

  

  If so, you can make an image appear here by setting the “featured image” for that post by following the steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

  One more thing.. now that the photo is a featured image, do I need to also add the photo to my post or will it automatically appear for the reader?

  That depends on the theme. Some themes display the featured image on individual posts and some do not. The theme you have activated on your site doesn’t display featured images in individual posts, so you’ll need to insert the image in the post.
