Photos no longer enlarge when clicked
-
For nearly 3 years now, my recipe blog pictures (buttoni.wordpress.com), whether uploaded in “medium” size or as thumbnails, would enlarge when readers clicked on them, as in this posting: http://buttoni.wordpress.com/2012/07/30/peggys-individual-chia-bread/ Starting about a month or so ago, that feature no longer works, as seen in this week’s post: http://buttoni.wordpress.com/2012/08/23/salmon-in-creamy-bacon-sauce/.
I originally thought it was just local on my pc and that it might be an issue with my photo viewer. But other blog readers have now informed me that feature no longer works for them either.
Can you shed any light on this issue, as I would really like my readers to be able to view up close the texture of my baked cakes and breads.

What most likely happened is that on this post, http://buttoni.wordpress.com/2012/08/21/apricot-trail-mix/, when you inserted the image in your post, you inadvertently changed the Link URL to “none” rather than “file URL”. Once you did that WordPress.com remembered your choice and applied it to the following images.
Regretfully the only way to correct this is by going into each post and editing the image link back to “file URL” See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/#within-posts

Thanks so much for you speedy reply, Jennifer! Took me a few minutes to understand what you were saying I needed to do, as I’d never edited a picture before, but it all made sense once I opened up that screen and just looked up my .jpg numbers for the images since that post. I’m amaze you figured out what I’d inadvertently done. Darn, I think WordPress remembers better than I do at age 63. LOL Hope it remembers from here on how I want them. :)
Thanks ever so much for you help.
