Photos Not Aligned

I was able to align my smaller photos by re-sizing them and they were posted that way. For some reason, they are not aligned on my blog anymore and when I try to re-size/edit they do not appear on the blog with the re-sizing. Did a setting change?

I read the threads and tried to fix my images but they won’t save after I re-size. They are still offside and very small. They were originally aligned with the wide landscaped photo above it! HELP – can you please fix it for me as ALL of my portrait sized images from ALL of my posts are messed up! My blog is cocouture.org

What I can do is disconnect all of the previously-inserted images from the Settings > Media size settings with a one-time change. The upside of doing that is it will make the already-inserted images go back to the way they were. The downside is that you won’t be able to control image sizes with the main settings page for already-inserted images on the blog and if you ever want to switch themes, the images wouldn’t resize automatically and that could make switching themes a more difficult process. If you want to go ahead anyway, reply to let me know and verify which blog you are working on and which sizes you want to strip from the images (size-thumbnail, size-medium, size-large, size-full).
Aside from that, you might consider trying out tiled galleries for your images. It seems to me they could work really well for your blog. Check out the example at http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#examples-of-gallery-styles
