On another account for a blog I work for …
Can anyone help?
Not unless or until you post the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to. Please do that now and tell us exactly which user role you have on that site.
-
What is the URL of the site you refer to starting with http://
What is your official user role on that site?

https://newsatbirchgrove.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.

Please just type the link like this https://newsfrombirchgrove.wordpress.com/
I see images all over this site https://newsfrombirchgrove.wordpress.com/
Where were the missing images hosted?
Were they hosted on another site and did you hotlink to them?
Did you are someone with access to your site delete the images from your media library?
If you are hotlinking to images hosted on servers that are not wordpress.COM servers wherever they are hosted can make sure they do not display so you and your site visitors are not using their bandwidth.
Images and media you upload into your media library and embed into posts and pages are on wordpress.COM servers. They remain visible unless or until you delete them from your media library. Deleting them from your media library also removes them from every place you embedded them in the blog and leaves behind broken links.
Staff cannot restore images you delete from your Media Library. You have to upload them all again, and then fix every broken image link in every post/page it was embedded into previously.
If you upload lots of images you can exhaust that free space allocation quickly. Currently, the only way to get an extra space allocation after you upload the images again, is to purchase an upgrade bundle. https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

oops! I see a typo above.
Did you or someone with access to your site delete the images from your media library?
You say you have Admin access. It’s important to note that only one Admin per site ie. the site’s actual owner who registered it under their account is recommended for every site with good reason. https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator

Okay, so thank you for your help first and foremost.
They are screenshots from gyazo that I saved to my PC then uploaded to the site’s WordPress media library. All the photos are from there but are not showing up.
By the way: I have access to the account which owns it as it is a group project.

If that means you are sharing login information then that’s security risk.
I strongly suggest that you email the person with the username account who registered the site and who is the sole owner of the site.

It’s a school project, two of us have login information.
I just realised I deleted all the photos! But thank you for your help. I didn’t realise they had to stay on there.
