Photos not appearing on pages

  I am loading up photos on pages (jpgs) and they are not showing up. I use the upload/insert icon and choose the jpgs I want to upload. They appear in the new window and load, but once I save they never appear on the actual page I was uplooding them on. Now the upload/image page does show more memory has been used but the images are gone. What am I doing wrong?

  Are you actually inserting the images into the post or page?
  Choosing a size and what you want them to link to and so on…
  Or are you just saving them to the library?
