Photos not displaying properly in mobile

Just recently (within the last few weeks), the photos I’ve placed on my site are not displaying properly on my mobile device (an iPhone 6 Plus). The photos do not resize properly to adjust to the smaller form factor. Everything looks fine on my desktop. They also display properly in the mobile preview under MySite. Has there been a change to WordPress, or is my older phone no longer supported?

Hi Tim,
I just opened your site on my phone (iPhone 11) and tested it with the dev tools for iPhone 6 plus display and it looks like your images are displaying correctly. This could not be the case on your side for some reason, may you please share a link to a page that is not displaying properly and let us know what you expect it to look like.
It would also be helpful to know which browser you are using on your mobile and if anyone else reported the same issue. -

I’m using the Safari browser on my phone.
I don’t see where I can post photos in a response (?) … if you reply to the contact me page on my site with your email, I can send you some photos of what I get on my phone vs. what the site should look like.

In doing some experimentation, it seems to be a change in the way the “Crop Images” button works in the Gallery Settings. If I turn it off, the photos display closer to what I would expect. But I loose the auto adjust of the thumbnails.
A bit frustrating since my site is very photo heavy.
