Photos not showing up

  Hi,

  I am not able to see the photos on any of my blog posts. I am not sure since when the problem is but I saw it yesterday. Even when I tried to upload some pics yesterday, broken links were showing up and photo wasn’t get uploaded. Could you advise me what to do for it?

  I can see photos all over your front page using Firefox 8. If you cannot see them then you need to do some troubleshooting. Will you please provide us with some details so we can try to help you?

  1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

  2. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  3.Which browser and version of it are you using?

  4. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  5. Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here. http://browsehappy.com/

  6. Do you have third party cookies enabled?

  7. Do you have JavaScript enabled? http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

  8. Do you have another browser you can try?

  Hi Timethief,

  1. I connect to the Internet and WordPress by a broadband connection and have been doing this for the past 7 months. I haven’t faced any problems before with my pics on WordPress. It’s just happened over the last couple of days.

  2. I am using http://

  3. I am using Firefox 8

  4. My browser cache has been cleared

  5. Firefox is most up-to-date version I think

  6. I don’t know how to check if 3rd party cookies are enabled.

  7. Javascript is enabled.

  8. I have tried with Google Chrome but its the same problem :(

  9. My Adobe Flash Player is up-to-date as well

  Actually I have been blogging for 2.5 years. Have never changed any internet settings but suddenly facing this problem :(.

  Interestingly I tried that but it would still continue to be the same problem. My friends also can see these pics when they open up my blog. Not able to understand what the problem is :(.

  It sounds like there could be a problem with your ISP.

  Can you access either of these directly?

  Also, can you give us one or two URLs of images that are not loading for you?

  Yeah I can access all those three links you gave me directly. I mean whichever of them I click I get a blue header and a white colour on the rest of the page.
