Photos not showing up in blog on specific entries

  This is really strange but some of my photos are not showing up in my blog but only if I’m using the Permalink address. This has happened on multiple blogs and I can’t figure out why.

  For example, I posted a blog tonight:

  http://antirider.wordpress.com/2009/06/02/wandering-on-brown-mountain/

  If you click on it, you’ll see a bunch of photos didn’t upload. All you see is a box with the file name inside (like DSC09923). If you click the box, it gives you another screen that says “404 Not Found, nginx.”

  However, if you go to the main blog page:

  http://antirider.wordpress.com

  and look at the exact same blog (in this case, the one at the top of the page), all of the photos will upload just fine.

  It does the same thing with the previous blog at:

  http://antirider.wordpress.com/2009/05/28/waynesville-party-time-excellent-wooooooo/

  If you use the permalink, a lot of photos don’t upload. If you look at the main root address, the photos are okay.

  I use the permalinks a lot to drive traffic to certain blogs that are relevant to my friends, the forums, etc.

  This is driving me crazy! What am I doing wrong?! Thanks in advance for your help.

  I just looked through my code and noticed a trend with the photos that don’t upload, they all have an address of

  “../files/2009/06/dsc09933.jpg”

  instead of

  “http://antirider.wordpress.com/files/2009/06/dsc09933.jpg”

  See below cut straight from my blog:

  So here’s the next question, why is it doing this on some of the photos? I’m not writing any raw html so to insert a photo, I do the following:

  1. click the Add an Image button
  2. upload from PC (unless it was previously batch uploaded)
  3. click on the Media Library tab
  4. click show on the photo to insert
  5. click insert into post

  I follow this exact same procedure for every single photo. However, it appears that some of them randomly had the “..” address instead of the fully address.

  I’m going crazy trying to figure this out! It seems to randomly choose which photos to not include the full address. Also, how do I stop this from happening? Thanks!

  An update:

  I manually went into the html and fixed all of the

  “..”

  with

  “http://antirider.wordpress.com”

  but that still doesn’t explain why this is happening.

  Any insight would be greatly appreciated. It’s a pain to have to manually change it for all of those photos. Thanks!
