photos not viewable

Hi there,
can somebody please help me? I do not know why a lot of my photos can’t be viewed on my blog page. I uploaded the right way but I do not know why they can;t be viewed when I visit my blog page. Please help me.

The photos that are missing are uploaded to a different wordpress blog, http://elaineelaine.files.wordpress.com/ that apparently is set to private, which means that the images are not accessible from the blog you have them posted on. You either have to set that other blog to public or upload those images to http://elaineniale.wordpress.com .
Also, your site loads entirely too slowly due to how image intensive it is. My suggestion is to go to settings > reading and decrease the number of posts on a page to either 3 or 5. I would also suggest that if you have a lot of images to put into a post (say more than 20) that you break it up into two or more posts. Keep in mind that a good number of people out there are still on dialup and slower DSL connection (256k) so it will take a really long time for things to load for them.
You might also read through this FAQ on image optimization and my suggestion is to keep your image file sizes under 75k each and 50k would be even better if you are going to continue posting large numbers of images. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/08/optimise-your-images/

I just started a wordpress blog – http://www.nomadbaking.wordpress.com – and I’m having similar photo issues. I’ve loaded photos, had them appear when I brought my site up, and then checked the site again to find that certain photos weren’t viewable – all that was left was a little box with a title in it. This has happened several times, apparently to arbitrary photos and posts. Any help or advice you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. -

I’m having a similar problem with my new blog at nomadbaking.wordpress.com . I’ve loaded photos, viewed my site and had them appear, and then checked the site a few hours later to find the photos had inexplicably vanished, to be replaced by a box that contained the photo’s title. This has happened several times to arbitrary photos in several of my posts. Any assistance you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
