Photos sizing
-
When I attempt to switch to another theme, some of my photos (high res) “spill over” the two-column blog box. I’ve tried resizing (via the gallery options), but it’s just distorting the images.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

he site linked to your name is a Myspace, and we won’t be able to help you with that. If you have a WP.com blog, please change that link to connect to the blog instead, so we can help you.

That’s strange. Could it be bcause both my WordPress blog and MySpace page have the same name?

G’day,
The fact they are the same is not relevant. Links don’t insert themselves … lol :D The reason your muspaces blog is linked to your username is because you put your myspaces blog link in the “Website” field.Go into your Dashboard > Users > Personal Settings -> then scroll down to ‘Account Details’. In the spot where it says ‘Website’ remove the myspaces blog URL and insert the URL for your wordpress.com blog. Then and save the changes.
Before changing themes you may want to consult this post > Maximum displayed image width http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/23/maximum-image-width/

Thank you so much, timethief! I have no idea why I ever put a link to MySpace there.
And thank you for the link. I’ll resize the photos to meet the proper requirements of the theme I want to switch to and to avoid future hassles.
