photos stored/saved on my site

  I have way too many and they are not in any order so it is hard to find one in the mess. I already made the mistake of deleting some of the older ones I had already used but it deleted them from their matching post also. It says I still have 50% of my storage space left so I will be really confused by then. Can someone tell me what I can do about organizing them or deleting without changing a previous Post I have done??
