Photos theme – menu – About

  • Unknown's avatar

When I set up my blog, I liked the Photos theme home page (even though I don’t take photos).
On your themes selection page, it shows a menu at the top near the title but I can’t see this when viewing my blog on my tablet (ipad). Is there a setting for tablet?
I’d really like to show a link to my About page in a header menu on a tablet.
    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Your site could be using a responsive theme. If you want to keep the exact layout on every screen, you may want to change to a theme with a Fixed Layout.

To find themes with a fixed layout go to My Sites -> Design -> Themes -> Layout -> Sort by Fixed Layout.

More information on theme layouts below:

The alternative is to change the CSS on your current theme which requires at least a Business Plan.

  • Hi there,

The menu is there on mobile and tablet views, but not where you’d expect it.

On mobile, scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the button with three horizontal lines to expand the menu there.

Thanks for responding gracema2002 and kokkieh.

I looked for the menu at the bottom of the page and it isn’t there. No three lines.

Odd thing, but I touched the screen randomly on the homepage where I expected the menu to be – right hand side of the title, at top of page – and the menu appeared! When I close the menu, it disappears again. I’m thinking it might be a white font, or bars, on a white field. I shall investigate.
