Photos will not show up after I change my theme.

Hey! My name is boardoh and I blog about photos. I’m quite new at this so I need help. I like to experiment with new themes but every time I do so, all my media in my blog posts don’t show up and get replaced by their title like “img1347” and I have to upload them all over again. Now today, I changed my theme but I have blogged for about 2 months worth of photos, and I don’t want to go through the trouble of getting them back. I’m sorry if this is a really stupid question but if anybody has a solution or thinks they have one, please reply.

Hi there. Changing themes doesn’t affect the content of posts, so it shouldn’t do anything to the images you’ve uploaded. I had a look at your blog and I can see all your photos. If you don’t try clearing your browser cache and check again: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
That said, it’s generally a good idea to have a second private blog which you can use as a test blog for new themes. Switching themes don’t affect your content, but it can mess up your widgets and customizations, so consider that going forward.

Thanks kokkkieh! So I guess changing themes shouldn’t affect your posts. I will be sure to make a second blog to text out new stuff. Thanks for the help!
