Photos won't load properly in new posts

  All my old posts which have been published seem okay but I can’t made a new post with photos which work properly.

  First of all, the ‘a href’ statement has gone missing. That means that, even if I get a photo to load, the photo is essentially a dead photo and you can’t click on it to access the library location and get a full size/resolution photo. As some of my posts are photography posts, this obviously needs to work.

  I found the statement was missing on drafts I was making on 3 Dec 2015. I had 2 posts which I was working on in draft and manually coded an ‘a href’ statement into the 2 posts relating to the photo location for each. One post worked fine, the other doesn’t work at all and the post truncates before the re-coded (first) photo. The post where the photo worked fine was a copy of an old post which I was amending to suit this year.

  I loaded another photo into the post which WAS working and previewed it. This time, things were even more weird. Clicking on the new photo loads up the first photo again when you click on it instead of the new one.

  At one point, I removed a lot of the wording after the first (successfully loaded) photo on the copied post and suddenly, the whole post started to truncate immediately before the first (previously happy) photo and I had to restore the previous version.

  Both these photos are in draft so, while I can provide the links to them, I’m not sure whether support can access them before they’re published? Assuming they can, I’m providing the links to the 2 posts from my draft folder here – the first one is the partially working ‘copied’ post from last year with a new first photo.

  The other one I’m still working on where clicking on the photos doesn’t work at all and I’ve tried coding an ‘a href’ statement at the start of the first photo, just truncates the post at that point at the end of the text immediately before the photo. This is at:

  Strangely, some other photographer bloggers I follow are not having this same problem on their new posts (since 3 Dec) but some bloggers are as they replied to my last post on here on this subject.

  I really need some help on this as I can’t progress with my blog until I can load proper ‘active’ photos up as my next few posts are photography posts (rather than my written ones).

  Okay, I’ve found out how to code the ‘a href’ statement correctly so my posts don’t truncate but the question still remains – why is my image loader not doing the coding for me instead of me having to code everything manually? It used to do the coding automatically
