photos won't open

  When I insert the photos they won’t open. They only appear as a little square. I used to be able to insert photos and it always worked.
  I had my computer in at a store to be repaired. Could they have taken off some kind of down load or changed a setting that I need to support inserting photos?

  Word press if very frustrating. I tried several things such as clearing the cache and cookies and upgrading my Adobe flash player. None of this made any difference. The photos just won’t open on the blog. I tried adding the photos from another computer and same thing. No photos.
  There must be some problem between this blog and wordpress.
  We have been updating this blog for a year with no problem. Why now can we not add photos??

  Is this just one photo giving your trouble or several? If it’s just one file, the file itself could be corrupt, and you may want to try another image.
