  I received this message when I go to my site j1con.com which is part of j1studios.com
  ‘Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.’

  You are most likely receiving that message because your current version of WordPress is out of date. You need to update your site to the most current version of WordPress as a first step to resolve this issue.

  There are numerous solutions online regarding this error and how to resolve it.

  However, I would first mention that at the moment, you’re in the WordPress.com Support Forums, which only provides support for WordPress.com hosted sites. For any other questions about self-hosted WordPress sites, you’ll need to redirect them to the WordPress.org Support Forums.
