PHP code to include header & menus

    Hi,

I have a PHP file that is uploaded by FTP with weather data, so its always changing. However, I can edit my weather software that generates the PHP file to include whatever code I want.

When a user is on my homepage, they can click “Live Weather” and it’ll take them to the URL (on my domain) for that PHP file.

When it redirects to the PHP file, it will lose the header and menu.

Is there a way to code my PHP file to show the header and menu options?

Currently, the weather page is using HTML, but I’m going to switch it to PHP in hopes that I can show the header/menu. I just don’t know how to code it so it’ll show the header/menu.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

I was told by them previously that they cannot give help with writing code. They said I should post it on a forum…?

  • Ah, hm, good point.

Since using doing custom code like that requires a paid Business Plan, you’re not likely to find many folks who can offer help with that.

Because of this, I recommend asking over at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/ instead.
