php update
-
hello
I am currently managing a website and needs to be updated from 6.2.5 to 6.5.2. It says here in the dashboard that I must be running a php version 7.0.0 or higher. According to my wordpress dashboard I’m running php version 5.6.40, but according to my hosting provider, it’s 8.2.
What can I do?WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like you are hosting w/ Godaddy and using the cPanel control panel? PHP Versions can be changed by logging into cPanel and going to the MultiPHP Manager to change the version. Upgrading the PHP version will make a huge difference in terms of your security and performance.

I did just that, but WP still doesn’t even smell it, and still says that it’s detecting version 5.6.40 instead. Any clue?
