    Message below appears on my dashboard as of 02/23/2019-should I try to upgrade PHP -or do I need to upgrade PHP?-I am novice in need of Advice

    That being said, it sounds as though your site is using the WordPress.org version of WordPress and is supported over at https://wordpress.org/support/
    You will need to register separately for those forums using the register link at the top right corner of the page link above. This is a separate registration from that for WordPress.com or your website login.

    WordPress.com forums support only those websites hosted here at WordPress.com and using our more controlled version of WordPress. We do not have access to our php files.

    Thank you for your reply-I am using wordpress.org and will register for that support for him.
