PHP Upgrade
-
Hi, I cannot access my customise option so not being able to continue building my website. My understanding from a bit of research is wordpress can update my PHP as it may be the reason why my customise option might not be working. How do I contact WordPress to get it sorted as I’ve logged into my wordpress account but can’t seem to find the chat option to request this. thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I cannot access my customise option so not being able to continue building my website.
http://theruncrew.wordpress.com/ doesn’t seem to have been updated for a while – is this the site which you’re having issues using the Customiser with? If not, what is the URL of your website?
Bear in mind that if your websites uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, you should post in the self-hosted forums or alternatively contact your hosting provider. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

On WordPress.com, you do not have access to PHP files, but this shouldn’t stop your Customiser from working.

For WordPress.com sites, live chat and email is available to those with a plan.
You have many options for support though: https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/
For self-hosted sites, please visit the self-hosted forums: https://wordpress.org/support
Let us know if you have any further questions or issues. :)

@theruncrew we take care of PHP on our servers. I’m guessing you’re referring to another site that’s not hosted here?
If that’s the case, you’ll want to reach out to your host.
Or, you’re welcome to import your site’s content here if you’d like.
