PHP Warning: Attempt to read property slug, parent, term

  Our error log is overloaded with these:

  PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “slug” on null in /wp-includes/category.php on line 161
  PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “parent” on null in /wp-includes/category.php on line 154
  PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “term_id” on null in /wp-includes/category.php on line 154
  PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “slug” on null in /wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 4695

  I’ve tried disabling plugins, changing themes, looking in debug.log, but I cannot trace the problems.

  I’ll assume they are all related.

  Any help on how to track these down would be appreciated. Thanks.

  Never mind, I found that post categories on one of our blogs on multisite were missing a parent. Adding the parent and moving the categories under the parent resolved the issue.
