My son recently set up a blog for me by cutting and pasting my word document. There are 60 smallish topics divided into three parts. We want to allow comments but despite following instructions, allowing comments and then updating it hasn’t worked. Ideally there would be a comment box at the end of each of the three sections. Some of the content seems to be arranged in posts, and others in pages. Some content is even on your site’s template itself, which I wouldn’t recommend for this case. People can’t really comment within the template, and if you change themes, you could lose that content.

They are permanent fixtures of your site fo

I’d recommend taking some time to set up a post for each topic, so it has its own comment section. Then, I’d recommend removing the content from your template. Want to give that a go? Please let us know if you need help.

  • Oh – one other idea, if you wanted to, you could add “categories” instead as topics, so you can add new information to a topic as you’d like. If you want to share more about what you have in mind for the site, we can make a recommendation. Cheers!
