Picasa widget for wordpress.com blogs

Do you mean a single photo stored in PicasaWeb? Or an album slideshow from PicasaWeb?
In PicasaWeb open the photo you want to show and on the right side there’s a Link to the photo tool that will generate the HTML for you (which you can further modify once you’ve pasted it into your post).
Whole album slideshows from PicasaWeb are NOT supported because they rely on Flash – which is not allowed on WordPress.

Oh, so there’s no way to insert a picasaweb slideshow in a NON-self-hosted wp blog? mmm..

I went to a workshop where they were able to insert a slide show from Picasa in an Edublog. Will this not work with WordPress?

Hi, I have put a link to my albums in Picasa. It is njot in Java, but it looks great. Have a look here : http://lehijab.wordpress.com/diaporamas-pour-inspirer/
When you go on your Picasa Web Albums, Click on a album, then look at the right there is a embed code for the album. Just cut and paste, I didn’t need to do any adjustements.
It simply puts the cover image of the album with a link to it. So it works for WordPress.com
