What kind of code does Picasa give you for a widget? The code we can use here is rather limited, for security reasons.

well actually, I don´t want to install new widget. Just asking, if it possible to change Flickr gallery to Picassa gallery on side bar. thank you

It’s a widget.
If you do not have code from Picasa, then you can’t install a widget from them.

You can’t use Javascript widgets on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. See here and note the codes that are stripped out by our software to preserve security as this is a multiuser blogging platform. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

If the code is okay, then you put it in a Text Widget and put the widget in your sidebar.
