Pics doubled-up in Media Library

  I notice that in my Media Library, most of the pics are doubled-up. One of them being marked ‘title_thumb.jpg’. Why there are two, I don’t know. Can I delete the ones marked ‘thumb’ without having the pic disappear from the blog post, please?

  if you delete any image from the Media Library you delete it from the wordpress.com servers. It’s gone and anywhere it previously appeared in your blog will be a broken link.

  But why should there be a second pic there? It’s not on the post!
