Pictorico

Hello. I’ve just changed to The Pictorico Theme. While it’s very attractive, it’s not loading on Safari, Chrome or my iPhone. I can’t expect everyone visiting my site to need to clear their cache to be able to see my homepage. Is this an ongoing problem? I would like to upgrade, but only if I know the theme works.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Suki,
The theme is loading correctly everywhere for me. To help me investigate what’s going wrong for you, can you make a screenshot of what you see when you visit your site?
You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy. Thanks!

I’ve uploaded screenshots from safari, chrome and iPhone. My friend in Australia is having no better luck than I.

Hi Suki,
Thanks, now I understand. The theme is actually loading the way it’s supposed to, but the posts are appearing as grey squares because they don’t have Featured Images. The Pictorico theme uses each post’s featured image to create the thumbnail on the front page of the site.
Can you please try adding a feature image to your posts and see if that fixes it for you?

No, there isn’t a way to do that here at WordPress.com. (People who really want to steal images can get around that kind of protection, anyway.) Instead, we recommend protecting your images and other content by taking the steps mentioned here: Prevent Content Theft
We also take content theft very seriously, so if you ever notice that your images are being used without your permission we have a guide for how to deal with it here: Content Theft – What to Do
