Pictorico / IE 9 – 11 problems?

  is IE9 still a supported browser with WP?
  my site uses the Pictorico theme
  it displays fine with Moxilla, Safari and Chrome but not IE9
  running on Vista
  I have IE11 running on an notebook platform with Window 7 starter and SP1

  in that env the posts do render but not the linked featured posts

  What’s the scoop? Has WP deprecated IE entirely, or is the theme not designed to run on IE, or is it something else?

  Any comments/advice welcome. Thanks!

  WordPress.com supports the browsers and versions of them found at http://browsehappy.com
  I believe IE9 sis still supported despite the fact only 1.9 % of those browsing the internet are still using it. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  P.S. I have no issues at all when viewing the site using IE 11.

  many thx for tagging this for the Themes staff. this is really dumb but i couldnt really see how to subscribe to that! no worries – i’m sure i am overlooking the obvious!

  As timethief mentioned, please make sure that compatibility view isn’t enabled in your browser: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view

  If that doesn’t fix it, please make a screenshot of the problem so we can see the problem. You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.
