Pictorico post scroll – need to remove type of Post

  Hi,

  I am using the pictorico theme on my website and have a problem i am unable to resolve on my own.

  I want to remove the post type image (small blue box) and just leave the Post Name on the image on mouse over.

  This is how i want the scroll to look like on mouse over of the thumbnail http://camerashootrepeat.com/

  Can you kindly help me with the CSS and what i am doing wrong….have been able to get rid of the date of the post but not the image.

  Hey there!

  To adjust your theme’s CSS to accomplish this, click Appearance → Customize in your site’s Dashboard. Then, click CSS in your right-hand menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:

  .entry-format {
  display: none
  }

  Then Save your changes.

  Fantastic thatrobyn. After breaking my head over this for 3 days, you come like an angel and solved it in one go!! Can’t thank you enough for this.

  Can you also give me one last tip. I want the slider/title to come from top-down slide (center aligned) instead of the current left to right slide. Is there a easy fix for this. The reason is that with circle images, the left to right slide looks slightly funny. It would look better top-down and center aligned.

  Yes, I see how the removal of the post type makes the slider less aesthetically pleasing. Because your request requires a more complicated solution, my suggestion is to bring this query to the real CSS experts in the CSS Forums.
