Pictorico – Slider text extract

    Is there a way to limit the amount of text that that is superimposed on a Featured Image on the Header slider?

    I just want a sentence or two to appear in the slider, not the entire post or a large part of it.

    Any ideas? (ps I have custom CSS enabled if that helps)

    As far as I can tell there are no good ways to reduce the # of words in the excerpt without digging into the theme (which we can’t do on WordPress.com) but you could remove the excerpt all together like this:

    .entry-excerpt p{
    display: none

}

    thx for the info! i do want some text to appear in the slider arfea so i will just kludge it with filler text to the maximum length of the extract, then have the actual ost text start after that. thx again!
